Welcome to the Daphne Lesson! Django recorded this song quite often, but the most important recording was his session at the "Rome sessions" together with Stephane Grapelli in 1949. The „Rome“ sessions are very famous and Django´s creativity was on the highest level. He mixed typical bebop elements and swing phrases in his playing and created an unique sound for this period of time. This academy version contains a lot of his ideas that he played on the recordings in 1949 including some great lines and arpeggios.
