Funk22

Welcome to the Funk22 lesson! In this lesson we will be expanding our rhythm playing and learn to play a swinging 16th funk pattern. This is a bit different from most of the lessons at the Academy, which are based on a la-pompe rhythm. You'll also be introduced to the theme and a solo transcription based largely on our live trio recording. Funk22 is an original and we really enjoy playing it. For this lesson we have a recording of a concert of my trio's performance of Funk22. As a special bonus, the lesson also includes our live playalongs - so you can decide whether you want to play Sven Jungbeck's guitar or mine. Have fun with the lesson!
