This was the very first lesson ever recorded for the Gypsy Guitar Academy, featuring solo ideas for basic, intermediate, and advanced players.
Along the way, you’ll also learn some essential gypsy guitar techniques, like la pompe rhythm and Django’s sweeping technique (featured in the intermediate solo). You’ll also find two original Django Reinhardt theme transcriptions in this lesson!
Update 2025: We’ve included four new exercises based on “Minor Blues,” covering double stops, sweep picking, octaves, bends, and trills. You’ll also find a trio version of Minor Blues with my “Munich Connection” Trio – including the original tracks as playalongs for you to jam along with! Have fun!
