"Seven Come Eleven" is a classic jazz guitar tune by Charlie Christian, one of the pioneers of the electric jazz guitar. Christian was a prominent member of the Benny Goodman Sextet in the late 30s and early 40s, and his innovative playing style had a major influence on the development of jazz guitar. As a tribute to Christian's composition, Tommy Emmanuel & I have recorded this song for my Youtube channel. This guitar lesson is based on our YouTube video and within the lesson, you'll get an in-depth breakdown of the song's melody, chords, and learn specific sections of my solo. You will also have the opportunity to play along with the isolated tracks from our YouTube video. Whether you're an intermediate player or an advanced guitarist, "Seven Come Eleven" is an excellent choice to challenge yourself and improve your guitar playing skills. Let’s get to work!
