No mass production, no warehouse stock. Every single guitar is built to order – entirely handcrafted by luthier Jozsi Lak in his workshop in Germany. Jozsi uses only top-grade, yet affordable tonewoods. The result: instruments that not only look stunning but deliver the exact tone you’re looking for.
Jozsi and the GypsyGuitarAcademy developed these guitars in close collaboration with Joscho. Every single detail is based on his personal preferences, favorite specs, and years of experience on stage. So, while the foundation of every academy guitar is the same, you’ll end up with a truly handcrafted, unique instrument of your own.

Simply request a guitar by filling out the form. Joszi Lak will contact you within 3-4 business days and send you an invoice for the first deposit (500€). After confirmation of your order, your guitar will be scheduled for production. When your guitar is ready for shipment, your 2nd and final payment will be charged.
Jozsi has a limited capacity at his workshop. Therefore, after confirming your order with your first deposit, he will put your request on the waiting list. Each guitar will be handcrafted.
The guitars are handcrafted and shipped from Germany by Jozsi Lak Guitars. Depending on your country of residence, import duties, customs fees, or local taxes may apply. These costs are determined by local authorities and are the sole responsibility of the buyer. Please inform yourself in advance about any applicable fees.
